New Years Dispatch from The Future

Since I've the fortune to be in The Future, and have already been in 2009 for more than ten hours, I can give you a peak as to what is coming (or rather, not coming) down the line in the next year. So far as I can tell, the following will not happen in The Future (any time soon):
  • There are, sadly, no air-cars flying around Christchurch. At least my job is still safe then.
  • The world has not ended due to nuclear war, terrorism, global warming, John Key and the National Party, or Marxist-socialist Muslims ascending the Presidency.
  • There doesn't seem to be any more economic activity or the end of the recession or rise in the share-market.
At least the weather's brilliant - 80F and sunny - perfect for spending at the beach.
